Leebo's Free Gas Friday Give-away Rules
  1. No purchase is necessary.
  2. You must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and a legal resident of Louisiana at the time of entry to win.
  3. This Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules.
  4. Entries can be made at any Leebos locations.
  5. Contest begins on June 17, 2008 and ends on September 5, 2008. Final entry deadline is September 2, 2008 at 5PM CDST.
  6. The geographic scope of this promotion is the state of Louisiana. The Sponsors of this Contest are Leebos and KALB-TV.
  7. The odds of winning are based upon the number of entries received.


    8. PRIZES
    Description of prizes:
  8. One (1) Prize Winner each week of the contest will receive one (1) $100 gas card redeemable at any Leebos locations. Retail value is $100.
  9. All federal, state and other taxes relating to any prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
  10. Prizes are not transferable, substitutable, or exchangeable for cash.


    11. ELIGIBILITY

  12. All participants must be at least twenty-one (21) years old with a valid drivers license and a legal resident of Louisiana at the time of entry.
  13. Employees of Leebos, KALB-TV, and any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, suppliers, franchisees, promoters, and agents of any of these, and the immediate families (defined as spouse, parents, siblings or children) of the employees of any of these, are not eligible to enter or to win.
    14. TO ENTER
  14. Register at anyone of the following Leebos locations any day within the contest period during normal hours of operation. The participants who fail to supply all required information will not be eligible to win and will not be notified by Leebos or KALB TV.
  15. All correct entries will be entered in a random drawing of one (1) person per week will be drawn on KALB TV’s, Jambalaya show on each Friday during the contest weeks of June 16 through & September 1, 2008. Entries must be received by September 2, 2008 at 5PM CDST
  16. If KALB-TV selects your name as a prize winner, Leebos or KALB-TV will contact you in accordance with the information you supplied to Leebos or KALB-TV. Winners may be verified over the telephone at the time and may be asked to provide Leebos with identification verification. Identification includes a valid driver’s license or other valid picture ID showing name and address. Faxes will not be accepted. The winners may also be required to sign other legal documents, including tax forms and a release supplied by Leebos, which, among other disclaimers, releases Leebos, KALB-TV and a range of subsidiaries, directors, agents, agencies, affiliates, franchisees, promoters, officers, directors, employees and related persons from any and all liability related to this Contest and the receipt and use of the prize. The information contained on the Official Entry Form becomes the property of Leebos. The verified prize winners may arrange to pick up their prizes at any Leebos location. If Leebos is unable to speak directly to a winner within two (2) days from initial attempted notification, Leebos in its sole discretion may disqualify that winner and select an alternate winner or remove the prize from the Contest.
  17. Leebos, KALB-TV, their affiliates, subsidiaries or agencies will not be responsible for the inability to select winners because of postal failure, equipment failure, or data storage failure.


    18. MISCELLANEOUS
  18. All federal, state and local laws apply. Sponsors shall be entitled to interpret these rules as needed — including but not limited to rules regarding entries, selection of winner, deadlines, restrictions on prizes, and eligibility — and all of their decisions are final. By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules. Leebos and KALB-TV reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest or any part of this Contest should any non-authorized intervention, network failure, information storage failure, telecommunications failure, malfunction,or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or impair the security, administration, fairness and/or operation of this Contest as determined by Leebos and KALB-TV in its sole discretion. Leebos or KALB-TV is not responsible for entries that for any reason are not received by Leebos by the deadline stated above.
  19. For a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope by mail to: "Free Gas Fridays" c/o KALB TV, 605 Washington St, Alexandria, LA 71301 after August 31, 2008.

  21. By accepting a prize, winners agree to award Sponsors the right to publicize their names, photographs (including the use and appearance of winner's photograph on Sponsors’ web pages), likenesses, biographical information, e-mail address, voices and details of winning for purposes of this and future promotions without further compensation.
  22. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with this Contest in any way will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
